We did it! Thank you to all of our very generous donors who helped us reach our goal to raise $5,000 on Colorado Gives Day!
100% of your donations will go towards a grant for a new women’s fund in 2012.

The Rita Fund is a public 501(c)(3) organization, supported by donors like yourself. We strive to create a sustainable funding source through annual fundraising and long-term investing. We thank you for your support and your interest in sustaining women’s human rights activism around the globe.
Rita focuses on supporting women’s funds because of their proven ability create long-lasting progress. Organizations receiving grants from women’s funds have empowered women, changed laws, influenced policy, initiated peace processes and saved lives.
Regional Women’s Funds have been created from Kenya to Nepal, Mongolia to the Ukraine, to strengthen women’s movements and support human rights defenders.
They are led by activists in their country who saw the need to bring financial support to their work. By contributing The Rita Fund, you can support them too!
